The Washington State Legislative session will be kicking off soon.

We have put this page together to help members of the Seattle community better engage with their elected officials. This page will provide an overview of events upcoming and provide some helpful information. If you would like to help (or provide tips) please reach out at CHCC.officers@gmail.com

Note: The scope of this page is for all of Seattle and not just Capitol Hill.

Upcoming Town Halls

  • 43rd Legislative District – Map – Areas: Eastlake, Montlake, Madison Park, Capitol Hill, part of First Hill, SLU, Downtown, Belltown, Fremont, Laurelhurst

Districts with no known Town Halls

Check back for more details. This is a 60 day short session (long session are odd years). The session starts Jan 12 2026. Here is the draft legislative calendar. It seems that many areas may have their Town Halls after Feb 17 2026 House of Origin Cutoff date. You can see that the 43rd Legislative District does this.

  • 32nd Legislative District – Map – NW Seattle and Shoreline – Broadview
  • 34th Legislative District – Map – Pioneer Square, West Seattle, Georgetown
  • 36th Legislative District – Map – Ballard, etc
  • 37th Legislative District – Map –  Most of First Hill, Leschi, Madorna, Central District, Chinatown/International District, and areas east of I-5 and south of I-90 – Beacon Hill, Mt Baker, Hillman City, Rainier Beach, Seward Park
