The Washington State Legislative session will be kicking off soon.

We have put this page together to help members of the Seattle community better engage with their elected officials. This page will provide an overview of events upcoming and provide some helpful information. If you would like to help (or provide tips) please reach out at CHCC.officers@gmail.com

Note: The scope of this page is for all of Seattle and not just Capitol Hill.

Check back for more details. This is a 60 day short session (long session are odd years). The session starts Jan 12 2026. Here is the legislative calendar. It seems that many areas may have their Town Halls after Feb 17 2026 House of Origin Cutoff date. You can see that the 43rd Legislative District does this.
