There are so many great areas of Capitol Hill that no one person (or small team of people) can keep track of. Each month we will be highlighting a different area that you might be able to help.
This month we highlighting Kids/Youth/Schooling. If you are interested in helping in anyway on this topic please let us know (email). Below is just a small number of ways that you might help:
- Letting the CHCC know about school events or what is going on at your school.
- Is the school doing a fundraiser? Looking for a place to host an event?
- Do you know of summer camps in the area? Can you help put together a list?
- Do you work for a business that would like to help our CH schools, but don’t know who to contact? Maybe we can help.
- Do you want to know more about the school closures of which Stevens is on the list (KUOW story)
- Maybe you don’t even have kids, but like buying Girl Scout cookies. Let’s work together to make that easier.
- Do you like taking your kids to the Teddy Bear Room, but your kids are too old. Help us write a guide for new parents to Capitol Hill to keep these traditions alive.
There is so much going on. Let’s work together to get the word out and help others.
