This in-person event promises good company\, great music\, and plenty of holiday cheer — a chill evening to meet your neighbors\, make new friends\, and take a nice deep rejuvenating breath as we head into 2025 together. \n\n\n\nAnd in case you have a tacky sweater lurking in your dresser drawers\, now’s the chance to bust it out: We’ll be holding an Ugly Sweater Contest\, with prizes that include gift certificates to local merchants. \n\n\n\nBring clean and wearable clothing to donate\, and we’ll pass it along to local families in need. Pull-on sweat/sport pants\, as well as larger size coats and jackets\, are especially appreciated. DESCRIPTION:FIRST AND THIRD SATURDAY IN APRIL\, MAY\, AND JUNE\, 10 A.M.–2 P.M.\, meet in the lower parking lot; registration required \nSpring work parties in the Greenbelt are starting up again! \nCome commune with the forest while helping weed and maybe plant. Get your hands/gloves dirty as you remove non-native plants and create native habitat in the middle of Seattle’s urban environment. Wear sturdy\, close toed shoes that can get wet\, long-sleeved shirt\, pants\, and hat. Bring water\, a snack\, and a raincoat if there’s a chance of rain. \nEach work party is limited to 18 people\, and you must sign up beforehand for each date. All ages are welcome. Tools and training will be provided.
