Capitol Hill Appreciation Program

Update: This has been updated for International Firefighters Day – May 4.

Description: The Capitol Hill Appreciation Program is a new initiative by the Capitol Hill Community Council to thank and support those who make our community the great place that it is.

How long has this program been going on? We just started on April 22, 2025.

What does the Capitol Hill Appreciation Program (CHAP) do? The Capitol Hill Community Council drops off thank you cards to supporting businesses/locations. Then the public can come in and sign those cards. The CHCC will then pick up the cards a few days before they are due and send them where they need to go.

Where can I sign appreciation cards?

Participating Locations:

What do I do if I have questions? Or if a member of the public has questions? We will include some flyers, information pages, and handouts about the CHCC. You can also email chcc.officers@gmail.com

Why do this? Part of the CHCC’s mission is to get people more engaged with their community. Part of this is encouraging people to try out new places they haven’t tried out before.
