The Capitol Hill Community Council is a volunteer run group. You can learn more about the Capitol Hill Community Council here.

The process based on the February 26, 2025 version of the bylaws. Is for 7 person board. The top 4 vote getters server for 2 years. The other 3 server for one year. At the next board election (probably May 2026). Newly elected officers would server for 2 years. Ensuring a that only 3 or 4 members are voted on each year.

The community elects the board. And then the board elects officers. The current bylaws call for a chair and vice-chair. The chair and vice-chair are elected by the board after the next board election.

  • Chris Paulus (Chair) – 2 year term – expiring May 2027
  • Curtis Atkisson (vice-chair) – 2 year term – expiring May 2027
  • Jackie Makdah – 2 year term – expiring May 2027
  • Spencer Rawls – 2 year term – expiring May 2027
  • Joseph Galagan – 1 year term – expiring May 2026
  • Paul Esteves – 1 year term – expiring May 2026
  • Alex Gray – 1 year term – expiring May 2026*

*: The original May election only had 6 people running for 7 seats. After the board was seated nominations were opened and Alex won the nomination in a field of 4 candidates.
